Firstprice is an instant roof quote calculator for UK roofing companies. It goes on the website you already have, gives homeowners a personalised estimate from your own rates within two minutes, and sends you the enquiry with the job details.
Why it exists
I’m Ollie, a quantity surveyor. I spend a lot of my working life chasing quotes, and I know how much people want an answer straight away. Someone looking at 10pm on a Sunday can’t ring anyone. Most roofing websites end in a contact form and a wait. A rough figure there and then helps them make up their mind, go with you and give you a call.
What we stick to
- Your rates only. Every figure comes from the prices you give us. No national averages, no one else’s figures.
- A range, not a promise. The estimate says plainly that a survey confirms the final price.
- No guessing on awkward jobs. Asbestos, listed buildings and structural damage go to a survey with no figure.
- Checked before it goes live. We put around ten of your past quotes through it first.
- Your website, your name. It carries your company name and colours.
Where it’s at
Firstprice is working now, and you can try the live demo as a homeowner would. I’m offering it to a few contractors first, so I can set each one up properly. Measuring the roof on a map from a phone is being developed.
